Bývalý řemeslník, zkušený podnikatel a známý kanadský televizní moderátor Bryan Baeumler našel ráj, který chce rekonstruovat podle svých představ. Společně s manželkou Sarah dal veškeré životní úspory za opuštěný plážový resort na exotických Bahamách. Budoucí luxusní hotel, nově pojmenovaný Caerula Mar Club, stojí na největším, ale nejopuštěnějším a nejméně zastavěném ostrově South Andros. Bryan a Sarah se sem přestěhovali i se svými dětmi. Plánují všechno zrekonstruovat do dokonalé podoby a už za šest měsíců otevřít. Má to ale háček. Když se to nestihne a do půl roku nedorazí první hosté, projekt nebude vydělávat. Baeumlerovi sice budou na pláži omývané vlnami blankytně modrého oceánu, jenže finančně zůstanou totálně na suchu. Skuteční hrdinové napínavé reality show už nemají žádné rezervy. V Ráji podle Bryana do toho jdou naplno. I když mohou přijít o všechno. A co teprve, když udeří ničivý hurikán?
