Třetí část sci-fi série o zlých ještěrkách z vesmíru navazuje na první dvě série (Original miniserie (1983), The Final Battle (1984)) a jedná se už o klasickou televizní sérii, která nedosahuje kvalit prvních dvou dílů. Návštěvníci byli poraženi bakterií Rudý prach a po roce od této události se koná na Zemi oslava Dne vítězství. Zároveň se připravuje soud s uvězněnou lady Dianou. Dianě se ale podaří uprchnout a Rudý prach přestává proti Návštěvníkům fungovat. Ukazuje se, že ve stínu Měsíce je ukryto mnoho mateřských lodí mimozemšťanů, kteří čekají na ten správný okamžik k novému útoku na Zemi.
