V roce 1908 se lovci biblických textů, Charles Freer, Chester Beatty a finančník J. P. Morgan, vydali prozkoumat Blízký východ, kde pátrali po nejstarších záznamech křesťanství. Odkryli řadu raných biblických textů po staletí ztracených, pohřbených v pouštním písku a skrytých ve starověkých klášterech. Odhalili jasné důkazy z prvních století křesťanství, v nichž ještě byla slyšet odezva Ježíšova hlasu. Ale jakmile byly texty sestaveny dohromady a přeloženy, změnily pochopení počátků a vývoje Nového zákona a křesťanství. Lovci biblických textů se vydali hledat doklady, které by potvrdily jejich víru, a odhalili velmi odlišnou pravdu. V této sérii se dozvíme jejich příběh, plný udivujících odhalení a dech beroucích lokací.
