Den, an eighth-grader, sells knockoff sneakers to neighborhood kids but ends up in debt. To pay it off, he and his best friends, Gosha and Nikita, dive into the world of "drops." The scheme seems deceptively simple: hand over a bank card and get paid. But the first influx of cash brings the first wave of trouble. After they run some illicit cash through Nikita’s grandmother’s card, scammers drain her entire life savings. To get the money back for her, the boys need a truly lucrative gig—but easy money leads to serious consequences.

Geo is a boxer, Den is a fashionista, Nikita is a nerd; the lads are classmates and best mates. Den tries and fails to sell some counterfeit trainers to some lads from the neighbourhood and ends up owing them money. To pay off the debt, the lads ask the school’s top con artist, Lyokha, for help.

Nikita’s grandmother has been swindled by fraudsters, who stole all her savings from her card. Geo’s father is having business problems and can’t afford to pay for some important training camps. Dan’s account on the classifieds website has been blocked, and he doesn’t have the money for festival tickets with his girlfriend. Lyokha suggests the lads take a big gamble.

But the desire to make money gets the better of them. After lessons, the lads head off to cash out a thick wad of bank cards. But Borisych runs into a terrified Dan by the cash machine.

Borisych searches the lads but finds nothing. During the chase, Geo managed to hide the cards in a pile of rubbish. After snatching them back from a local tramp, the lads decide to return the cards and quit the game. But Lyokha isn’t keen on the idea.
