Oskari arrives in Iceland to celebrate his friend Kaisa's birthday. Kaisa surprises the guests by taking them on a four-day horseback riding trip. Krunka, the farm's blunt hostess, is tired of tourists.

Kaisa is unsure what to remember or forget about the night's events. Krunka takes charge of the group, and Oskari’s attempt to find his place among the horses and people takes a new turn.

Oskari and Krunka set out to find the escaped horses when Valdi unexpectedly appears. Krunka is torn between duty and personal desires. In the end, the friends reach the beach of their dreams.

Oskari and Krunka finally meet face-to-face. Oskari’s son calls his father after a long time. Old promises and the future collide. The farewell is bittersweet, but is it final?
