Poté, co se „Bůh“ spolu s celou třídou dostane do jiného světa, nabídne Harukovi a jeho vrstevníkům, aby si vybrali zvláštní schopnosti a stali se hrdiny z fantasy. Haruka však omylem prošvihl období pro výběr schopností a nyní mu zůstaly zbytky schopností, které si jeho spolužáci odmítli vzít! Zdánlivě nedostatečné schopnosti využívá k tomu, aby žil (překvapivě pohodlný) život vlka samotáře... ale jeho spolužáci brzy zjistí, že jejich „nadřazené“ schopnosti nejsou tak skvělé, jak se o nich tvrdí, a Haruka jim možná bude muset přijít na pomoc pomocí vynalézavosti, kreativity a zbytků schopností, které mu kdysi spolužáci odepřeli.
