Boogies Diner is a syndicated Canadian sitcom which first aired in 1994. It stars Jim J. Bullock, Monika Schnarre, and James Marsden in one of his first appearances on television. The series ended in 1995. This syndicated sitcom revolves around a lively diner and convenience store, focusing on the lives of seven teenagers who work there. The ensemble cast features Jason (Jimmy Marsden), the charming "resident hunk" with an unwavering sense of honor; Cynthia (Robin Stapler), an upbeat, enthusiastic waitress; Cheryl-Ann (Joy Tanner), a character known for her unlimited budget but limited depth; Zoya (Monika Schnarre), a stunning 6-foot-1 presence; Tymp, the on-site DJ and music maestro; Kirby (Zack Ward), the eccentric and unpredictable chef; and Gerald (Jim J. Bullock), the hilariously high-strung store manager.
Tymp's grandfather teaches the diner gang a lesson about age. Tymp wants to take advantage of having the house to himself to throw a huge party. But then his grandfather announces a visit, and the bash seems to be off. Meanwhile, Jason has to drum up business for Boogie's Diner—dressed as a hot dog, of all things.
Gerald takes advantage of Jason's newfound fame as Mr. July on a Mall calendar. Calendar model Jason gets an offer from Hollywood.
Jason claimed to his father that he was the manager of the Boogie. When he announces his visit, Jason is in a real bind.
