Xia Xiaoju přestoupila těsně před zkouškami gaokao. Setkává se se soucitným Cheng Langem, přímým Lu Shiyi (Wang Ruichang), často omámeným Qiu Letao a mnoha dalšími. Přestože se v novém prostředí cítí flustrovaná a setkání s novými spolužáky začíná nedorozuměním, snaží se z toho vytěžit maximum. S blížícím se gaokao se studenti sami rozhodují, což přináší řadu problémů.
