Maloměstská dívka Tess doprovází svého přítele Lea do opuštěné továrny hluboko ve švédském lese, kde on a jeho přátelé pořádají největší skandinávskou akci LARP (live action role play). Všichni účastníci kromě Tess jsou profesionální hráči LARPu a ona se snaží zapadnout. Když se přátelé zrovna nepřipravují na akci, plánují večírky s grilováním u jezera. I přes varování správce skupina nastartuje elektrický systém opuštěné továrny. Netuší však, že zde došlo k hrůzné lidské oběti a zapnutím proudu probudí v budově zlou sílu. To, co začíná jako hra, se brzy stane bojem o přežití, kde nikdo neví, komu věřit, a kde se z přátel stávají nepřátelé.
